Power Grid secures ‘Excellent’ rating in MoU performance for FY'25

Power Grid on Monday said that it has achived an ‘Excellent’ rating in MoU signed with the Ministry of Power for the financial year 2024–25

New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has once again achieved an ‘Excellent’ rating in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Ministry of Power, for the financial year 2024–25, securing a score of 93.88.

The company has maintained the top ‘Excellent’ rating consistently since its first MoU in FY 1993–94, underscoring its sustained commitment to high standards of operational excellence, financial discipline and performance delivery.

The MoU evaluation reflects Power Grid’s strong performance across key parameters, including project execution, system reliability, asset management and adherence to corporate governance norms. The consistent ratings highlight the company’s role as the backbone of India’s power transmission network and its ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects efficiently.

Power Grid continues to play a critical role in strengthening the national power grid, facilitating seamless integration of renewable energy and supporting the Government of India’s vision for a resilient, reliable and sustainable power sector.
