Power Grid has signed an MoUs with ONGC to collaborate on Green Hydrogen and clean energy projects

New Delhi: Maharatna Power PSU Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Power Grid) has signed a Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with ONGC to collaborate on Green Hydrogen and clean energy projects. This will combine their strengths to explore new business opportunities and support India's Energy Transition.

The MoU has been signed in the presence of Dr Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel) of Power Grid and Arunangshu Sarkar, Director (Strategy and Corporate Affairs) of ONGC and other senior officials from both organisations.

As on November 30, Power Grid has commissioned and is operating 280 Sub-stations, more than 1,78,975 ckm transmission lines and 5,45,961 MVA of transformation capacity. With the adoption of the latest technological tools and techniques, enhanced use of automation and digital solutions, Power Grid has been able to maintain an average transmission system availability of more than 99.80 percent.
