New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.23 per cent to Rs 709.80 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in November traded higher by Rs 1.65 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 709.80 per kg in a business turnover of 5,941 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants. PTI SGC SHW
