New Delhi, Nov 15 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 2.90 to Rs 232.60 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 2.90 or 1.26 per cent at Rs 232.60 per kg with a business turnover of 4,879 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade. PTI SGC SHW
