RLI Vindhyachal conducts Labour Codes training for VSR region

RLI Vindhyachal inaugurated a half-day training programme on “New Labour Codes” on January 19 and January 20

New Delhi: RLI Vindhyachal inaugurated a half-day training programme on “New Labour Codes” on January 19 and January 20, aimed at creating awareness on the four consolidated Labour Codes and their implications for the workplace. The programme was conducted in four batches for employees, SMC members and employee representatives from Vindhyachal, Singrauli and Rihand.

The programme was formally launched by the CGM (Vindhyachal) Sanjib Kumar Saha who welcomed the Guest of Honour and speaker, NTPC's Former Executive Director (HR) Amar Nath Verma. Emphasizing the importance of statutory awareness, Saha stated that understanding the new labour codes is essential for ensuring compliance and managing labour issues effectively in a dynamic industrial environment.

The GM (O&M) AJ Rajkumar highlighted that the consolidated Labour Codes have simplified processes and enhanced clarity in implementation. He appreciated RLI Vindhyachal for organizing the programme and expressed confidence that it would strengthen practical understanding and uniformity in application across NTPC stations.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of around 153 employees from the VSR region. The sessions concluded with interactive discussions and query resolution, reaffirming NTPC’s commitment to robust compliance practices and harmonious industrial relations.
