RVNL secures Rs 644.84 crore construction contract from NMDC

RVNL has received an LoA from NMDC for the construction of residential towers and a shopping complex in Bacheli, Chhattisgarh

New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) on Thursday said that it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC) for the construction of residential towers and a shopping complex in Bacheli, Chhattisgarh.

The contract, valued at Rs 644.84 crore (inclusive of all taxes), involves the development of integrated residential and commercial infrastructure and is scheduled to be executed over a period of 34 months, the company said in a regulatory filing with stock exchanges on Wednesday.

The project has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls within RVNL’s normal course of business.
