New Delhi: In a significant step towards developing a future-ready leadership pipeline in India’s Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs), the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) have signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and Egon Zehnder for the second cohort of the DAKSH Leadership Programme.
The agreement was signed by the Director General of SCOPE Atul Sobti; Joint Secretary of CBC SP Roy; IIM Indore's Director Prof. Himanshu Rai; and Egon Zehnder's Partner Rahul Rana. The signing ceremony was attended virtually by CBC Chairman Adil Zainulbhai and was also graced by Alka Mittal, Member CBC; Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), GAIL; KK Singh, Director (Personnel) of SAIL; along with other senior officials from CBC, SCOPE, and various PSEs.
SCOPE and CBC have roped in Egon Zehnder as the Knowledge Partner and IIM Indore as the Academic Partner for the second batch of DAKSH—an exclusive leadership development initiative tailored to groom high-potential PSE executives for strategic and board-level responsibilities.
The first batch of the DAKSH programme, comprising approximately 75 senior executives from PSEs across the country, is already undergoing intensive learning sessions facilitated by McKinsey and IIM Ahmedabad, the Knowledge and Academic Partners for the inaugural cohort.
DAKSH aims to foster visionary leadership within the public sector by offering an advanced curriculum, global best practices, and strategic mentoring opportunities, thereby equipping future leaders to navigate complex challenges and drive transformational change.
