Speaking to reporters outside the State Assembly, the Minister claimed, "When we wanted to present the evidence, they (opposition) ran away, (referring to the walk out staged by the AIADMK during Monday's session). I have all the proof and will release it officially," the Minister said.
She alleged that approximately 2,03,000 jobs meant for Tamil Nadu's youth were lost to other states, particularly Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
Reacting sharply to the opposition labeling the current dispensation as the "NDA's B-team", the Minister pointed to the flight of projects to BJP-ruled states during the previous government's tenure.
"If they are calling us a B-team, what about them? They lost crucial investments to Gujarat. By that logic, either they are the B-team or their previous industries minister is a B-team," the Minister retorted.
Defending the current administration's performance, the Minister highlighted that institutional mechanisms like Guidance Tamil Nadu are being strengthened with additional teams to proactively attract global investments.

"We are doing great, and that is why they are unable to believe anything. Multiple projects that went back to Andhra Pradesh or elsewhere during their time are being tracked, and we are showing real progress," the Minister added.
