New Delhi: State-owned Central Bank of India stated in a regulatory filing on Monday that it has appointed Chandrakant Bhagwat as Company Secretary with immediate effect.

"Chandrakant Bhagwat is an Associate Member of the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India. He is a graduate in Commerce and Master's in Business Administration in Finance. He is also a Law graduate. He has experience of more than 10 years in the Legal and Secretarial area. Before joining Central Bank of India, he was associated with Bank of Maharashtra," the filing said.
