ITDC appoints Vandana Jain as Govt Nominee Director

ITDC on Friday said that Vandana Jain has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on the company’s board with effect from Friday

New Delhi: State-owned India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC) on Friday said that Vandana Jain has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on the company’s Board with effect from Friday.

The company informed stock exchanges that Jain, who is currently serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor (AS&FA) in the Ministry of Tourism, was appointed pursuant to the Ministry’s communication dated April 28.

According to the disclosure, Jain holds a Master’s degree in Economics with specialisation in International Trade and has held several senior positions in various ministries, including the Ministries of Health and Family Welfare, Power, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and Defence.

The appointment follows the cessation of Ranjana Chopra as Director on the Board after completion of her tenure as SS&FA in the Ministry of Tourism.
