Kishore Kumar Hota assumes charge as Executive Director at NTPC Vindhyachal

NTPC Vindhyachal has announced the appointment of Kishore Kumar Hota as its new Executive Director and Head of Project (HOP)

New Delhi: NTPC Vindhyachal has announced the appointment of Kishore Kumar Hota as its new Executive Director and Head of Project (HOP). He assumed charge on Thursday.

An alumnus of National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Hota holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from Xavier Institute of Management, Odisha. He brings nearly 38 years of experience in the power sector, having worked across diverse functions including operations, corporate planning, fuel management, fuel transportation, green energy, and business unit leadership.

Hota joined NTPC as an Executive Trainee in 1988 and has since contributed significantly to the organisation’s growth and operational excellence. During his career, he has served at several key NTPC locations, including Vindhyachal, Noida, Kudgi and Lucknow.

According to the company, Hota is known for his strategic vision, technical expertise and commitment to operational excellence. He has played an important role in enhancing NTPC’s performance and driving growth initiatives across various business segments.
