Mritunjay Pratap Singh set to be next Director (Operations) of RVNL

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Mritunjay Pratap Singh for the post of Director (Operations) of RVNL on Monday

New Delhi: Mritunjay Pratap Singh set to be next Director (Operations) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Principal Executive Director in the same organisation.

Singh has been recommended for the post of Director (Operations) of RVNL from list 12 candidates who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on September 9. Out of 12 candidates, nine candidates were from RVNL Limited and one each from RITES Limited, DFCCIL and Indian Railways.

As Director (Operations) of RVNL, Singh will be a member of the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be in-charge of works, Business Development in domestic and international markets along with the project execution. He will also be responsible for preparation of project preparatory studies including financial, economic, social and environmental analysis, security for traffic guarantees etc.
