ONGC appoints 2 executives as Executive Directors

ONGC Limited on Friday announced the appointment of Jagdamba Prasad G Dobriyal and Ravinder Singh Negi as Executive Directors on its board

New Delhi: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) on Friday announced that it has appointed Jagdamba Prasad G Dobriyal and Ravinder Singh Negi as Executive Directors on its board. The appointment of both executives is effective from January 23.

Jagdamba Prasad G Dobriyal is an M.Sc. (Geology) from the University of Baroda and holds an MBA from IGNOU. He joined ONGC as a Geologist in Dehradun and has served at various ONGC locations including Dehradun, Mumbai, Nazira, Chennai and Kakinada. He brings with him over 35 years of experience in the organisation .

Ravinder Singh Negi is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Baroda, with an MBA (Finance) from South Gujarat University and a Ph.D. in Management from IGNOU. He joined ONGC as an Assistant Executive Engineer (Production) at Hazira and has worked across multiple locations including Hazira, Dehradun, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Karaikal, Chennai and Mumbai. He has 36 years of professional experience.

The appointments, effective from January 23, form part of ONGC’s senior management changes and are expected to further strengthen the company’s leadership at the executive level.
