New Delhi: Vivek Nishant Nath is set to be next Director (Commercial) of NMDC Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on April 25. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager (Sales and Marketing) at Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Limited.

Nath has been recommended for the post of Director (Commercial) of NMDC Limited after interviews with a diverse pool of candidates, including senior executives from NMDC Limited, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), and National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO).

Other candidates interviewed for the position included senior officials holding key roles such as Executive Directors, Chief General Managers, and General Managers across mining, steel, and metals PSUs, reflecting the competitive nature of the selection process.
