New Delhi: Rajarshi Dhar is set to be next Director (Personnel) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Coal. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (HR) and HoD (PRB) at Coal India Limited.

Dhar has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of BCCL from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel, in its 70th selection meeting of 2026, held on August 13. The other candidates included senior General Managers from Coal India Limited, South Eastern Coalfields Limited, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Central Coalfields Limited, Northern Coalfields Limited and Engineers India Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of BCCL, Dhar will be a member of Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in-charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation.
