Sachidananda Maharana appointed as Director (Finance) of NRL

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Sachidananda Maharana as Director (Finance) of Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL)

New Delhi: Sachidananda Maharana has been appointed as new Director (Finance) of Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved his appointment on April 15.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Maharana has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e. December 31, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he serves as Chief General Manager (CGM), Oil India Limited (OIL).

Maharana was recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of NRL by the PESB Selection Panel in its 10th Selection Meeting of 2025, held on February 1. He was selected from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel for the role.
