Sambeet Saurav Nayak assumes charge as CVO of MCL

New Delhi: Sambeet Saurav Nayak (IRTS) has assumed charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) on Thursday.

Nayak is 2012 batch Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer and has held key operational, commercial, and safety roles in East Coast Railways serving as Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr DCM), Khurda Road; Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr DCM), Sambalpur; and Senior Divisional Safety Officer (Sr DSO), Sambalpur. He has been instrumental in executing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects including both greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects in Sambalpur Division.

"Team MCL looks forward to his diverse field experience, leadership and administrative expertise to further strengthen vigilance administration, transparency and ethical governance in the company towards ensuring the nation’s energy security," the coal-miner said in an official statement.
