Search panel recommends Bikram Ghosh for WCL's Director (Finance) post

The Search-cum-Selection Committee has recommended the name of Bikram Ghosh for WCL's Director (Finance) post

New Delhi: The Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) constituted by the Ministry of Coal has recommended the name of Bikram Ghosh for Western Coalfields Limited’s (WCL) Director (Finance) post. He was recommended for the post on October 13 after the panel interviewed a total of 12 candidates.

Presently, he is serving as General Manager in Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL).

Earlier, the PESB panel in its selection meeting held in June 2022, was not able to find any suitable candidate for the post. The panel had advised the Ministry of Coal to choose an appropriate course of further action for selection, including the SCSC, or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent authority.

Director (Finance) post in WCL in vacant since December 31, 2021. However, WCL's CMD Manoj Kumar is holding the additional charge of the post.
