ACC clears appointments of several officers at Joint Secretary/Equivalent posts

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of several officers for Joint Secretary and equivalent posts on Friday

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of several officers for Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent posts on Sunday. Here is the full list of newly appointed officers:

Puneet Yadav (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Govt of India. Yadav is a 1999-batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre. He has been appointed to the post from the by temporarily downgrading a vacant post of Additional Secretary in the Department for a period from date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto September 21, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Manoj Sethi (ICAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. Sethi is an Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officer of 1993-batch. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto February 4, 2025 or until further orders, by temporarily downgrading the post from Additional Secretary level in the Department.

Vijay Nehra (IAS) has been appointed as Senior Directing Staff (CS) in the National Defence College (NDC) under the Ministry of Defence. Nehra is a 2001-batch IAS officer of 2001-batch. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Brijesh Pandey (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region. Pandey is a 2004-batch IAS officer of Tripura cadre. He has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Vijay Ranjan Singh (IFoS) has been appointed as CMD of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a PSU under the Department of Economic Affairs. Singh is a 1996-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) service officer of Karnataka cadre. He has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Manish Bhardwaj (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG) of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. Bhardwaj is a 1997-batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre. He has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sumita Singh (CSS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, against an existing vacancy.

Vishal Chauhan (IAS) has been appointed as Member (Admin) in the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. Chauhan is a 1998-batch IAS officer of Sikkim cadre. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years up-to November 30, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Anandrao Vishnu Patil (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy. Patil is a 1998-batch IAS officer of Tamil Nandu cadre. He has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, against an existing vacancy.

Beena M (IAS) has been appointed as Development Commissioner (Handlooms) in the Office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms) under the Ministry of Textiles. Beena is 1999-batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre. She has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years up-to October 3, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Pradeep Kumar Agrawal (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. Agrawal is 2006-batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
