New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Monday has approved the proposals to assign additional responsibilities to these bureaucrats/IAS officers. Here is the list:

R Subrahmanyam (IAS) has been given additional charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs vice Deepak Khandekar (IAS), who has taken over as Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). Subrahmanyam is a 1985-batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary of the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. According to the DoPT order, he has been appointed to the post with immediate effect and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Praveen Kumar Srivastava (IAS) has been given additional charge as Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat. Srivastava is a 1988-batch IAS officer of Assam cadre. He is currently serving as Special Secretary in the Department of Home under the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to the DoPT order, he will hold additional charge of the post till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sanjeeva Kumar (IAS) has been given additional charge as of the post of Member Secretary in the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) upon relinquishment of the charge of the post by GV Venugopala Sarma (IAS). Kumar is a 1986-batch IAS officer of Assam cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary of the Department of Border Management under the Ministry of Defence. He has been appointed to the post with immediate effect till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Pankaj Kumar (IAS) has been given additional charge as Secretary of Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation and Chief Executive Officer of Unique Identification Authority of India (UDAI) upon his taking over the charge of the post of Secretary in the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. He has been given additional charge of the posts with immediate effect till the appointment of a regular incumbent for these posts or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Earlier, he was serving as Chief Executive Officer of Unique Identification Authority of India (UDAI) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

Further, the ACC has also approved the proposal of the Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM) for premature repatriation of Venudhar Reddy Nukala (IIS) to his parent cadre on the grounds of availing promotion in the cadre. He was serving as Joint Secretary in DIPAM.
