Govt clears appointments of several officers at Joint Secretary/equivalent posts

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of several officers at Joint Secretary / Joint Secretary equivalent level on Friday. Here is the full list:

Deepankar Aron (IRS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals. He has been appointed to the post in place of Susanta Kumar Purohit (IRSEE) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Harish Kumar Vashisth (IRS) has been appointed as Joint DG in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. He has been appointed to the post in place of Puja Singh Mandol (IA&AS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Siddharth Mahajan (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce. He has been appointed to the post in place of Krishan Kumar (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of three years upto November 7, 2024, extendable for a combined tenure of seven years upto November 7, 2028 subject to availability of Cadre Clearance, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Anand Madhukar (IRPS) has been appointed as Additional DG of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Ministry of Culture. He has been appointed to the post in place of Rakesh Singh Lal (IOFS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Swati Meena Naik (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation. She has been appointed to the post in place of Samir Kumar (IES) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto August 2, 2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ravi Shanakar (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Food & Public Distribution. He has been appointed to the post in place of Palka Sahni (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto July 31, 2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Gulzar N (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Food & Public Distribution. He has been appointed to the post in place of Richa Sharma (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Manoj Kumar Jain (IRAS) has been appointed as Executive Director (Engg/IT) at Food Corporation of India (FCI) HQ under the Department of Food & Public Distribution. He has been appointed to the post in place of S Abbasi (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Pushpendra Rajput (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare. He has been appointed to the post in place of Lav Agarwal (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto November 29, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Saurabh Jain (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare. He has been appointed to the post in place of Vishal Chauhan (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mihir Kumar (IDAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of CG Rajini Kaanthan (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Parthasarathi Gurrala (CSS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Sanjeev Sehgal (IRSEE) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure upto his superannuation on December 31, 2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Abhijit Sinha (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Sanjeev K Jindal (CSS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Vipul Aggarwal (IPS) has been appointed as Principal Commissioner at Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Rajeev Kumar Tiwari (IFoS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto March 15, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Jagannath Srinivasan (IPoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Justice. He has been appointed to the post in place of Rajinder Kumar Kashyap (IPoS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Alok Mishra (IInfoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Labour & Employment. He has been appointed to the post in place of Vibha Bhalla (IRS) from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Bhaskar Choradia (IRAS) has been appointed as Addl CPFC (Hq), Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. He has been appointed to the post in place of Veena Tamta Bhatia (IOFS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sanjay Pandey (ICAS) has been appointed as Financial Advisor & CAO of Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. He has been appointed to the post against an existing vacancy with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure upto his superannuation on August 31, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kunal Satyarthi (IFoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Land Resources. He has been appointed to the post in place of Sonmoni Borah (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of seven years upto February 4, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mahabir Prasad (IRAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary & FA in the Ministry of Power. He has been appointed to the post in place of Ashish Upadhyay (IAS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ajeet Kumar Srivastava (IRAS) has been appointed as Commissioner of National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS). He has been appointed to the post in place of Asit Gopal (IFoS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sarwesh Kumar Arya (CSS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development. He has been appointed to the post in place of Tripti Gurha (IRTS) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
