

New Delhi: Ishoo Ratna Srivastav has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Srivastav is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of the 2012 batch. He was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. He will serve in the post for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Srivastav holds an engineering background in Mechanical Engineering and secured a high rank (AIR 16) in the Engineering Services Examination (ESE).
He has served in the Indian Railways in various engineering and managerial roles, contributing to operations, maintenance and project execution within the railway system. His experience spans technical as well as administrative functions in a large public sector setup.
He has been directed to be relieved of his current duties immediately to take up his new assignment in New Delhi.
