Indian Overseas Bank contributes Rs 50 lakh to Assam Chief Minister's relief fund

New Delhi: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has contributed Rs 50 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, to support communities affected by the floods in Assam.

A delegation from IOB's Guwahati Regional Office presented the contribution to the Honourable Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. The delegation comprised Rajiv Kumar, Chief Regional Manager; Anurag Singh Kshatriya, Assistant General Manager; and Pushkar Singh, Chief Manager.

On the Bank's support to the relief effort, Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director & CEO, Indian Overseas Bank, stated, "The Bank stands in solidarity with the people of Assam at this difficult time.
