Deepak Srivastava (IOFS) appointed Deputy Secretary in Petroleum Ministry

New Delhi: Deepak Srivastava (IOFS) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Defence Production. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas," the order further read.

Srivastava is an Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer of 2008-batch. He is currently serving in the Department of Defence Production under the Ministry of Defence.
