BEL registers a growth of 34% in net profit during FY'24

New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on Monday announced its financial results for the financial year FY 2023-24 and the 4th quarter ended on March 31. During the FY 2023-24, the net profit of the company stood at Rs 4,020.00 crore, with a growth of 33.70 percent over the net profit of Rs 3,006.67 crore recorded during the previous year (FY 2022-23).

The company has achieved a turnover of Rs 19,819.93 crore, registering a growth of 14.35 percent during FY 2023-24 over the turnover of Rs 17,333.37 crore recorded during the previous year.

While, the profit before tax (PBT) during FY 2023-24 stood at Rs 5,334.56 crore, with a growth of 33.87 percent over the PBT of Rs.3984.88 crore recorded during the previous year.

On quarterly basis, BEL's net profit has increased to Rs 1783.52 crore during the 4th Quarter of FY 2023-24 from Rs 1365.36 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company has achieved a turnover of Rs 8,335.01 crore in 4th Quarter of FY 2023-24 as against Rs.6327.48 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The order book position of the company as on April 1 stood at Rs 75,934 crore.

The Board of Directors at its meeting held on Monday recommended a Final Dividend of Rs 0.80 per Equity share (having a face value of Rs.1/- each) and the same is subject to the approval by the Shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the company.
