The latest contract is a follow-on order to the company's earlier export order valued at USD 36.38 million, which was announced in April 2026.

The defence PSU said, the heavy earthmoving equipment, originally developed for large-scale mining operations, has been adapted to meet the requirements of infrastructure development and strategic construction projects.

The equipment has been designed to operate under demanding conditions and incorporates advanced engineering features, enhanced durability and compliance with international quality standards. The machines are also equipped with ergonomically designed ROPS/FOPS-certified operator cabins aimed at improving safety, operator comfort and productivity.

As part of the contract, BEML will provide comprehensive maintenance and lifecycle support through its local representative in the Middle East. The support package includes supply of spare parts, preventive maintenance, servicing and lifecycle management to ensure higher equipment availability and operational efficiency.

Commenting on the development, BEML Chairman and Managing Director Shantanu Roy said the additional order from the Middle East reflects the confidence that global customers have in the company's products and capabilities.
