Under the agreements, BEML will manufacture 48 fuselage structures, while Adani Defence will produce 42 structures for the LCH programme. The agreements mark the first integration of private industry into the manufacturing of helicopter fuselage structures, according to HAL.

The partnerships are aimed at augmenting production capacity, strengthening the domestic aerospace supply chain and enhancing indigenous manufacturing capabilities. The expanded industrial base is also expected to create opportunities for Indian MSMEs, component manufacturers and aerospace suppliers.
