Madhubala Kalluri assumes charge as Director (Finance) of MIDHANI

New Delhi: Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, announced the appointment of Madhubala Kalluri as Director (Finance), effective July 21. The appointment has been made by the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, and will be valid until her superannuation on August 31, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kalluri, who holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce from Andhra University and is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, brings over 32 years of experience in financial management. She joined MIDHANI in 1993 as an Accounts Officer and has since held various leadership roles, including a brief tenure as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from May 31 to October 26, 2020.

Prior to this elevation, she served as General Manager (Finance) at MIDHANI. Over the years, she has played a key role in shaping financial policies, overseeing accounting, costing, taxation, budgeting, project finance, and audits. She was also a member of the company’s Board-level Risk Management Committee.

With her appointment, the additional charge of Director (Finance) that was previously held by Dr SVS Narayana Murty ceases to be in effect.

According to the official disclosure, Kalluri is not disqualified under Section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013, nor is she debarred from holding the office by any SEBI order.

MIDHANI is engaged in the manufacturing of specialized metals and metal alloys for strategic sectors including defence, aerospace, and nuclear energy.
