The facility has been inaugurated by Ministry of Defence's Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar in the presence of MIDHANI CMD S V S Narayana Murty and other senior officials.

The newly commissioned unit is equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies, including fully automated warm and hot head forging, thread rolling, and fillet rolling machines, enabling high precision and efficiency in the production of aerospace-grade fasteners.

The company manufactures a range of specialised fasteners, including high-strength steel fasteners for extreme aerospace conditions, titanium fasteners with superior strength-to-weight ratio, and superalloy fasteners designed for high-temperature and corrosive environments.

MIDHANI said the facility reflects MIDHANI’s commitment to supporting India’s self-reliance in defence production through enhanced in-house capabilities. The company maintains stringent quality control processes across the production cycle, supported by facilities such as proof load testing, thread profiling, magnetic particle inspection, coating evaluation, and end-to-end material traceability.
