New Delhi: Dr Molishree (IES) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs. She was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), she has been selected for appointment under the central staffing scheme (CSS) for a period up to June 24, 2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. "She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department of Economic Affairs,” the order stated.

Dr Molishree is an Indian Economics Service (IES) officer of 2011-batch. She is currently serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). She completed her graduation (BA Economics Hons) from St Stephen's College of Delhi University and Post-graduation (MSc, Economics) from the University of Calcutta. She also holds a Doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D. in Economics) from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. Prior to joining FATF, she was serving in the Women Entrepreneurship Platform in NITI Aayog. She has also held charge as Assistant Director in the Ministry of Commerce & Industries.
