BEL wins Free Press Journal & CareEdge annual report award

New Delhi: Navratna defence public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has been declared the winner in the Aerospace & Defence category at the 4th edition of the Free Press Journal and CareEdge Annual Report Awards.

The award has been presented at a ceremony held in Mumbai on Wednesday. BEL's AGM (Finance)/CO Sabhari V, and Deputy Company Secretary Gopal received the award on behalf of BEL.

The awards recognised companies across sectors for excellence in annual reporting and corporate disclosures. The event brought together corporate leaders, policymakers, investors and governance experts to acknowledge best practices in corporate reporting, transparency and stakeholder accountability.

According to the organisers, the initiative aims to encourage improved disclosures, stronger governance standards and greater investor confidence across corporate India.
