
New Delhi: Public Sector enterprise BEML Limited reaffirmed its commitment to preventive vigilance by organising a high-impact awareness session on “Vigilance, Anti-Corruption Measures, and Conduct of Public Servants.” The event, conducted by the Corporate Vigilance Department, brought together senior officials from various PSUs and emphasized the importance of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in public service.
The session featured Rishi Kumar Shukla, IPS (Retd.), Former Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Director General of Police (DGP), Madhya Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. Drawing from his extensive experience in law enforcement, Shukla delivered deep insights into the evolving landscape of vigilance and anti-corruption frameworks in India. His address underscored the need for transparency and proactive preventive measures to foster a culture of clean governance.
BEML CMD Shantanu Roy, CVO Sajid Farid Shapoo (IPS), Functional Directors, and senior vigilance officials from prominent organisations such as HAL, BEL, Canara Bank, KIOCL, BMRCL, ITI, KAPL, HMT, and BRBNMPL were also present at the event.
One of the key highlights of the event was the release of the BEML Vigilance Manual 3.0, which reflects the company’s continuous efforts to strengthen its internal vigilance mechanisms and promote ethical behavior across all levels of operation.
Speaking at the event, officials emphasized that effective vigilance practices empower not only organizations but also citizens, enabling a more transparent and secure environment for all stakeholders.
