New Delhi: NTPC Talcher Kaniha organised its annual Media Interaction Meet 2025 at Deep Tarang Hall, Deepsikha Township on Wednesday, bringing together over 100 media representatives for an open and constructive dialogue on the station’s operations, achievements and community initiatives.

The event was inaugurated by KN Reddy, Executive Director, NTPC Talcher Kaniha, who served as the Chief Guest. Senior officials, including Samarpita Diwasi, GM (Projects), Navneet Kumar, Head of HR, along with other HODs, were also present.

The programme began with a welcome address by the Head of HR, followed by vibrant Odissi and Sambalpuri dance performances by local children, showcasing the cultural heritage of the region.

A detailed presentation outlining NTPC Talcher Kaniha’s operational performance, key achievements, technological upgrades and CSR initiatives was shared with the attending media. The presentation highlighted the plant’s focus on sustainability, operational excellence and community development.

During an open forum, Reddy and senior officials interacted with media representatives, addressing queries related to plant operations, environmental management, future projects and welfare programmes. The leadership reiterated NTPC’s commitment to maintaining transparent communication and strengthening its engagement with stakeholders.

In his concluding remarks, Reddy emphasised that NTPC Talcher Kaniha continues to prioritise operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, technological innovation and community welfare. He also thanked the media fraternity for their consistent support and constructive coverage, acknowledging their role in amplifying the company’s initiatives and achievements.
