New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), the country’s leading public sector steel producer, has been honoured with eight prestigious national awards by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), reaffirming its leadership in strategic and technology-driven corporate communication.

The awards were conferred at the 47th All India Public Relations Conference, held in Dehradun from December 13 to 15, 2025. The recognition underscores SAIL’s innovative communication practices, particularly its effective integration of artificial intelligence and digital tools to engage stakeholders and support national development priorities.

SAIL received top honours across a wide spectrum of categories, reflecting the depth and diversity of its communication initiatives. These include Best Advertising Campaign using AI for its high-impact campaign during the Women’s World Cup 2025, and Best Use of AI in PR Campaign for the AI-driven news bulletin AI SAILTrack. The company was also recognised for its Corporate Website, highlighting excellence in user experience and information accessibility.

Further accolades were awarded for Most Impressive Event Management for SAIL’s exhibition at India Steel–2025, and for its contribution to the Make in India (Defence Sector) initiative, acknowledging efforts to promote indigenous manufacturing for national defence. SAIL also won awards for its E-Newsletter through the in-house audio-visual bulletin SAILTrack, and Best Communication Campaign (Internal Publics) for the ‘AI & U’ competition aimed at familiarising employees with emerging technologies.

In addition, SAIL’s Corporate Sustainability Report 2023–24 was recognised under the Sustainable Development Report category for excellence in creative design and layout.

Congratulating the team, SAIL Chairman Amarendu Prakash said that stakeholder engagement must consistently reflect clarity of purpose, alignment with organisational values and a strong understanding of strategic priorities. He noted that the integration of AI-powered tools into internal and external communication processes demonstrates not only the adoption of advanced technology but also the organisation’s ability to translate vision into impactful communication.
