The event was organised in line with this year’s International Day of Yoga theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” and witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and employees, particularly women employees. During the activity, participants picked chits from a specially designed Yoga Chit Box and performed various yoga postures, pranayama techniques and yoga-related challenges mentioned on them.

The programme was conducted by Pritpal Singh Gumber, a yoga instructor from Art of Living, who guided participants through different yoga asanas and breathing exercises. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the physical, mental and emotional benefits of regular yoga practice and encouraged employees to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine to achieve a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

SECL said participants displayed high levels of energy, enthusiasm and a healthy competitive spirit throughout the event, while reaffirming their commitment to making yoga an integral part of their lives.
