ITI Recruitment 2021: Bengaluru-based ITI Limited has posted a job vacancy for the engagement of the Director (Production) for the organisation. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before November 11. The post will fall vacant on September 1, 2022. Currently, D Venkateswarlu is serving as Director (Production) of the company.
Director (Production) is a member of the board of directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He/she is responsible for production and turnkey projects management of the company i.e. production of entire range of telecom equipment covering switching, transmission, mobile, access products and subscriber premises equipment etc. and providing end-to-end solutions for turnkey projects.
Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000 – Rs 3,20,000 (IDA)
Age Limit: Minimum age limit 45 years and age of superannuation 60 years
The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as on the date of the vacancy.
The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-
(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 1,500 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 1,500 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)
The applicant should be an engineering graduate preferably in Electronics or Telecommunication with the good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants with MBA qualifications will have added advantages.
Note (i) Applicants from Central Government or All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Joint Secretary in Government of India or carrying an equivalent scale of pay on the date of application.
(ii) Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Major General in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force on the date of application.
Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises/ Private Sector should be working on the board level position or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level on the date of application.
