MRVC Recruitment 2022: Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) has released a job notification through the PESB portal for the engagement of the Director (Projects). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the job before April 18. The post will fall vacant on September 1, 2022. Vijay Nathawat is the current Director (Projects) of MRVC.
Director (Projects) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He is overall in charge of planning, detailed engineering and execution of various civil engineering works and projects management and gives necessary technical and management guidelines, promoting indigenisation under the AtmaNirbhar Scheme of the government.
Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000 – 3,40,000 (IDA)
Age Limit: Minimum age limit 40 years and age of superannuation 60 years
The minimum length of service required in the eligible scale will be one year for internal candidates, and two years for others as on the date of the vacancy.
The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies;
(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 1500 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in company where the annual turnover is *Rs 1500 crore or more.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)
The applicant should be a Civil Engineering graduate with good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants holding MBA or Technical qualifications will have added advantage.
The applicant should possess adequate technical or operational or project management experience at a senior level in an organisation of repute, out of which at least five years during the last ten years should have been in Civil Engineering works or project management in the Railways sector.
Note (i) Applicants from Central Government or All India Services should be holding a post of the level of Joint Secretary in Government of India or carrying an equivalent scale of pay on the date of application.
(ii) Applicants from the Armed forces of the Union should be holding a post of the level of Major General in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force on the date of application.
Applicants from State Public Sector Enterprises or Private Sector should be working at Board level position or at least a post of the level immediately below the Board level on the date of application.
