RINL invites job application for CMD; apply before August 20

RINL Recruitment 2020: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Steel, has released a job notification for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). Eligible candidates, according to given criteria, can apply before August 20. The post will fall vacant on June 1, 2021.

The Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) is the chief executive of the company and accountable to its board of directors and government of India. He/She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the company and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.

Pay scale: Rs 80,000/-  1,25,000/-  (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit 45 years and age of superannuation 60 years

Employment Status

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 5000 crore or more;
(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 5000 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.
(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualification

The applicant should be a graduate with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants with Technical/MBA qualifications will have added advantage.

Experience

The applicant should have adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organisation of repute.
Applicants with experience in Finance or Marketing or Production will have added advantage.
Experience in Steel Industry is desirable.
