New Delhi: Central Bank of India in a regulatory filing on Wednesday stated that it has appointed Malladi Venkat Murali Krishna as its Executive Director (ED) for a period of three years. "Krishna will join as ED with effect from the date of assumption of office on or after December 1, or until further orders, whichever is earlier," said the regulatory filing. Central Bank of India also stated that Krishna will be joining as ED as Alok Srivastava will superannuate on November 30. "Currently, Krishna is serving as the Chief General Manager (CGM) of Bank of Baroda," the bank told the BSE.
"The Exchange is hereby informed that in exercise of the powers conferred under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of
undertakings) Act, 1970, the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance,
Government of India has vide its Notification No eF no 4/6/2021-80.I dated November 21, appointed Malladi Venkat Murali Krishna, Chief General Manager, Bank of Baroda, as Executive Director on the Board of the Bank, for a period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of office on or after December 1, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Alok Srivastava, Executive Director of the Bank, who shall be superannuating on November 30. The brief profile of Malladi Venkat Murali Krishna shall be submitted
in due course, " said the bank in a regulatory filing.
