New Delhi: India's crude oil production was 2,512.46 TMT in October, which was 5.95 percent lower than the target for the month and 2.15 percent lower in comparison to October 2020. The cumulative crude oil production during April-October was 17,437.03 TMT, which was 4.02 percent lower than the target for the period and 2.81 percent lower when compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, data released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas showed.
Crude oil production by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in nomination block was 1,641.04 TMT in October, which was 4.98 percent lower than the target for the month and 3.87 percent lower when compared to October 2020. The cumulative crude oil production by ONGC during April-October period was 11,345.19 TMT, which was 4.21 percent lower than the target for the period and 4.35 percent lower in comparison to the corresponding period of the last year.
Crude oil production by Oil India Ltd (OIL) in the nomination block during October was 252.99 TMT, which was 7.18 percent lower than the target for the month and 1.46 percent lower when compared to October 2020. The cumulative crude oil production by OIL during April-October period was 1,748.11 TMT, which was 0.34 percent higher than the production during the corresponding period of the last year but 3.25 percent lower than the target for the period.
Crude oil production by private/JV companies in the PSC/RSC regime during October was 618.43 TMT, which was 2.39 percent higher than the production of October 2020 but 7.97 percent lower than the target for the month. The cumulative crude oil production during the April-October period was 4,343.72 TMT, which was 0.14 percent higher than the production recorded during the corresponding period of last year but 3.82 percent lower than the target for the period.
