New Delhi/Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Singrauli, the subsidiary company of Coal India Limited (CIL) conducted free health checkups of more than 320 villagers in a health camp organised on March 19 in nearby Birkunia village under its CSR initiative.
The medical team of Central Hospital, Singrauli conducted health checkups of the villagers and distributed free medicines. On the occasion, free sanitation kits were also distributed to the villagers. Patients related to blood pressure, diabetes, dermatitis, and other diseases were examined and basic health-related information, COVID-19 precautions were given to all the villagers present in the camp. The medical team of Central Hospital played a vital role in successfully organising the camp.
NCL being a responsible corporate is undertaking a wide variety of CSR activities for the benefit of every part of society, Health is also one of the seven major fields in which the company is doing its CSR works.
