
New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced that it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited for the supply of equipment for its upcoming 1x800 MW Anuppur Thermal Power Project in Madhya Pradesh.
The order, valued at approximately Rs 2,600 crore (excluding GST), involves the supply of a Boiler, Turbine, Generator, and associated auxiliaries, along with control and instrumentation systems. The project will be based on supercritical technology.
According to BHEL, the Boiler will be manufactured at its Trichy facility, while the Turbine and Generator will be produced at its Haridwar plant. The execution timeline for supply is 58 months.
The company confirmed that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions. A formal contract agreement is expected to be signed shortly.
