GRID-INDIA AGM approves final dividend of Rs 63.32 lakh

New Delhi: Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA) held its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday through hybrid mode.

The AGM was conducted from the company’s registered office in New Delhi, which served as the deemed venue.

The meeting was attended by GRID-INDIA CMD S.C. Saxena, Director (System Operation) R.K. Porwal, Director (Finance) and CFO Amit Kumar Jain, Director (Market Operation) S. Usha, government nominee directors, an independent director, company secretary, representatives of the Ministry of Power and statutory and secretarial auditors.

Addressing the members, Saxena apprised them of the company’s functioning and future plans.

Power Grid holds 37th AGM, highlights financial performance, operations and growth plans

The members, among other matters, approved payment of a final dividend of Rs 63.32 lakh to the Ministry of Power. This is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 569.90 lakh paid earlier.

With the approval of the final dividend, GRID-INDIA’s total dividend payout for the year stands at Rs 633.22 lakh.
