New Delhi: Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi gave away “Coal Minister’s Award 2022-23” on Tuesday to best-performing subsidiaries of Coal India Limited (CIL) in different categories like safety, production, sustainability, quality and ERP and also General Manager-level employees for excellence at work. Congratulating the awardees, the Coal Minister asked Coal India to introduce awards from next year onwards.
Here's a full list of the awardees:
1st prize: Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL)
2nd prize: Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL)
3rd prize: Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL)
1st prize: MCL
2nd prize: NCL
3rd prize: Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL)
1st prize: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL)
2nd prize: MCL
3rd prize: CCL
1st prize: CCL
2nd prize: WCL
3rd prize: MCL
1st prize: South-Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL)
2nd prize: NCL
3rd prize: Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL)
A total of 21 GMs of various CIL subsidiaries were also awarded on the occasion. The list included, AK Swarnakar, PB Reddy, KK Roul, AK Dehury, RS Gupta and AK Dhal from MCL, Md Sabir, VK Gupta and Alok Lalit Kumar from WCL, KK Sinha, Ajay Singh, NK Sinha and SK Pandey from CCL, Anand Mohan, Sanjay Kr Sahu and Arupa Nanda Nayak from ECL, BK Sinha, JC Rai, VK Goel and C Kumar from BCCL, and Vinod Kumar Singh from NCL.
