New Delhi: Highway commuters can now report problems at toll plazas directly to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) through a new feedback feature introduced on its Rajmargyatra mobile application.

The facility allows motorists to share their experiences at toll plazas and flag issues requiring attention, giving road users a direct channel to raise concerns about the quality of services.
Announcing the initiative on Monday, NHAI said the feature is designed to encourage greater citizen participation in improving highway travel.
For commuters, the new facility offers an opportunity to bring problems at toll plazas to the attention of the highway authority, rather than relying solely on existing complaint mechanisms.
NHAI said the feedback received through the app will help it identify shortcomings, monitor toll plaza services and determine where improvements are needed.
However, the effectiveness of the initiative will depend on how promptly NHAI acts on commuters’ feedback and whether reported problems translate into visible improvements on the ground.

While the new feature gives highway users a stronger voice, NHAI has not specified a timeline for resolving issues reported through the application.
