

New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has successfully executed long-term Fuel Supply Agreements (FSAs) with National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) for the supply of 5.0 Million Tonnes per annum (MTPA) of coal to NTPC’s Dadri, Farakka, Unchahar, and Nabinagar Thermal Power Stations.

The coal linkage under these agreements will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable and uninterrupted fuel supply to key thermal power stations, enabling reliable power generation and strengthening the nation’s energy security.
The agreements were signed in the presence of SK Jha, Director (Technical – OP & PP) of MCL, at the company headquarters, by AK Lakra, General Manager (M&S) of MCL; Diwakar Kaushik, Regional Executive Director (NR), NTPC; and Vijay Goel, Regional Executive Director (ER-I) of NTPC.
