NTPC Green Energy commissions 81.34 MW solar capacity in Rajasthan

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has declared 81.34 MW of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan, as commercially operational with effect from midnight of September 26, 2026.

The commissioned capacity forms part of the 650 MW solar component of the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy.

According to a regulatory filing, the first part capacity of 81.34 MW of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project was declared on commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hours on September 26, 2026.

Following the commissioning, the current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group stands at 10,977.23 MW, while its total installed capacity has increased to 11,058.57 MW.
