

New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has declared the commercial operation of 91.6 MW capacity of a 250 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project located in Andhra Pradesh on Monday.

The company said the second part capacity of 91.6 MW of the project, developed by Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power Private Limited, has been declared under commercial operation with effect from February 27, 2026, based on a certificate issued by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) on March 9, 2026.
Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power Private Limited is a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a joint venture associated with NTPC Green Energy Limited.
The company had earlier announced the commercial operation of the first part capacity of 158.4 MW of the same project on February 20.

With the addition of the newly operational capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has increased from 9,201.08 MW to 9,292.68 MW.
