NTPC organises workshop for 195 youth in Bongaigaon on Oct 30

New Delhi: NTPC organised a day-long career counselling-cum-training workshop for 195 youth residing near its Bongaigaon plant on October 30, Sunday. The event was organised to create awareness related to several employment opportunities. NTPC organised the event in collaboration with the CSR, CISF Wing of NTPC Bongaigaon, e-VOICE group of Helping Hands and Disha Classes at the CISF barrack of NTPC Bongaigaon. During the event, books and study materials were distributed among participants.

Karunakar Das, Business Unit Head of NTPC Bongaigaon inaugurated the program in the presence of G.M. Thangzom, Deputy Commandant, CISF, NTPC Bongaigaon, Kirti Yadav, Assistant Commandant, CISF, Bhaskar Gupta, DGM (HR) and members of the Disha Classes.

Addressing the youth in the training, Das stressed on three qualities required for selection in various competitive exams- discipline, awareness and dedication. "NTPC is providing this unique opportunity to the youth for a better life ahead," said Das.
