New Delhi: Pradip Kumar Tripathi (IAS), will hold the additional charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Steel, as he has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). “The Competent Authority has approved that upon his appointment as Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training, Pradip Kumar Tripathi (IAS) will also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Steel till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” an official order issued on Thursday said.

Tripathi is a 1987-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Jammu & Kashmir cadre. Prior to joining as Steel Secretary, he was serving as Special Secretary & Establishment Officer in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
